This is a wonderful piece Shelly and I have put it into chinese.I reposted here so as to get some comments from those who are indeed interested in poetry translation.
O WORLD, O LIFE, O TIME
Percy Bysshe Shelley
O World, O Life, O Time,
On whose last steps I climbed.
Trembling at that where I stood before,
When will return the glory of your prime?
No more O never more!
Out of day and night,
A joy has taken flight.
Fresh spring and summer and winter hoar,
Move my faint heart with grief, but with delight,
No more, O never more.
P.s . This rendition done in the Chinese classic poetry style—To the tune of phoenix hairpin,钗头凤 so doing is because I have found a kind of similarity in the poetic form.
